How to collect files from many people in one place

Forms, photos, documents from a whole class or team. Here’s how to stop chasing email attachments.

In short
  • Make one Room and send its link to everyone.
  • People upload files from any phone or computer, no account.
  • New files show up as they arrive; download it all at once.
STEP 1

Create a Room for the collection

Name it after what you are collecting, like “Class trip forms” or “Q3 receipts”. Choose how long it stays open so late uploads have a deadline.

STEP 2

Send one link to everyone

Email, chat or a QR code on a printed sheet. Senders open it and drop the files. No email size limits, no shared folder to mess up.

STEP 3

Watch the files come in

New files show up in the Room as they arrive. Duplicates are caught before they upload, so you do not get the same PDF five times.

STEP 4

Download everything at the end

Download all gives you every file in one go, in its original format. Close the Room when you are done and nobody can add more.

Can they see each other’s files?

You decide in the Room’s settings: guests can upload only, or upload and download.

What kinds of files can I collect?

Any: PDFs, Word and Excel files, photos, videos and more. You can also limit the Room to certain file types.
