Security and privacy
How your files are kept, who can open them, and what we never do.

Stored in the EUHTTPS, encrypted at restNo ads, no trackers
The short version: your files are stored in the European Union, encrypted, reachable only by people you give the link to, and deleted when the Room ends. We do not use them for advertising and we do not use them to train AI models.
Where your files are
- Files and Room details are stored in data centres in the European Union.
- Files travel over HTTPS and are encrypted at rest.
- Originals are kept byte for byte; we only add a small preview and, for HEIC, a JPEG copy for the browser.
Who can open a Room
- A Room has a secret address that is never listed anywhere. Search engines do not see Rooms.
- The host can add a PIN, allow only chosen email addresses, or approve every upload before others see it.
- Download links are signed and stop working within minutes; changing the PIN or the link ends every pass given before.
- Creating a Room needs an account (Google or an email code). The people you share it with need no account.
How long files stay
- Every Room has an end date. When it ends, its files are deleted automatically; the host of a Room with files gets an email a few hours before it ends.
- The host can delete files or the whole Room at any time. Deleting your account deletes every Room you made.
What we never do
- No ads, no advertising trackers, no selling or sharing of your data.
- No use of your files to train AI models.
- No cookie banner, because there are no tracking cookies to ask about.
Reporting a problem
Illegal content can be reported from any Room or with the report form; every report is reviewed by a person. Security issues: write to justsendfiles.dev@gmail.com.
The details are in the Privacy Policy and the Terms.
