Add a PIN, or set it so only the people you approve can enter. A forwarded link alone is then not enough.
Share it with the group only
Send the link and the PIN in the stag or hen group, not the big wedding chat. Everyone adds from their phone, no account.
Give the Room to the best man or the maid of honour
One person creates it, holds the PIN and decides what stays. The couple can get a cleaned-up copy later; the full weekend stays with the group.
Keep what you want, then let it end
Download the photos you want to keep. When the Room expires, the files are deleted.

Can someone forward the link?
They can, but with a PIN or approved-people-only access the link alone does not open the Room.
Can I remove a photo someone added?
Yes. The owner of the Room can delete any file; guests can delete their own.
What happens when the Room ends?
The files are deleted. Download anything you want to keep before then.
