Client documents, both ways.
One private link.
Create a Room for each matter. Share drafts and documents with your client, and let them upload theirs back, behind a PIN and a link that expires.
Clients do not need an account or an app. They open the link and download or upload.
Client files do not belong in a long email thread.
Contracts, scans and supporting documents go back and forth as attachments, some too large to send, others lost in replies.
Clients photograph documents with their phones and send them through chat.
A Room per matter keeps the exchange in one place. You choose who can open it, what they can do, and when the link stops working.
How it works
Create a Room for the matter
Upload the documents to share and name the Room so you find it again.
Control access
Add a PIN or a list of allowed emails, choose whether the client can upload, download or both, and set when the Room expires.
Exchange and prepare
Clients upload their documents. Fill in blanks, add text or a signature to a PDF, or add a password, in the browser editor.
- PIN and allowed emails
- Links that expire
- No account for clients
Made for client work
Two-way exchange
Send drafts and receive the client’s documents in the same Room, up to 50 GB per file.
You control access
A PIN, allowed emails and an expiry date. When the Room expires, its files are deleted.
PDF work in the browser
Fill blanks, add a signature, merge, or protect a PDF with a password at /edit/protect-pdf.
Good to know
- Do my clients need an account?
- No. They open the link in a browser. Only you need a free account to create Rooms.
- How do I keep a Room private?
- Add a PIN, or a list of allowed emails, so only the people you choose can open it. Use one Room per client or matter.
- Can I make the link stop working?
- Yes. Every Room has an expiry. Free Rooms last 3 days and Plus Rooms up to 30 days. When a Room expires, its files are deleted.
- Can I sign or fill a PDF?
- Yes. The editor at /edit lets you add text, fill blanks and draw a signature in the browser. It is a simple drawn signature, not a qualified electronic signature.
- Can I password-protect a document?
- Yes. Use /edit/protect-pdf to add a password before you share the file.
- Can clients comment on files?
- Yes. Rooms support comments, so questions stay next to the document they are about.
